How can I be sure my cleaning team will do a great job?
Here at Sparkle, we have a systematic cleaning process. Every cleaner goes through the same rigorous training, ensuring you receive a consistent and quality service for each and every cleaning. If you find that something was missed or not thoroughly cleaned, please reach out to us within 24 hours and we will come out to complete a correction clean to make it right.
What do I need to do before you come to my home?
Please be sure to remove clothes and clutter from the floor or from the surfaces that will be cleaned. Each of our teams bring their own cleaning supplies and equipment. They will thoroughly clean your home based on the cleaning package you choose.
What is the cancellation policy?
We get it, sometimes things come up. However, our cleaners are paid per job and depend on that income to make a living. Please email hello@trysparkle.com or call/text (941) 200-0860 as soon as you know you will be rescheduling or canceling. In order to try to be fair to everyone involved, we have adopted the following cancellation policy: Reschedule/Cancel prior to 48 hours before arrival: If the request is received more than 48 hours before the beginning of your arrival window, we will do our best to get you rescheduled at a time that is convenient for you at no additional charge. Reschedule/Cancel within 48 hours of arrival: If the request is received within 48 hours of the beginning of your arrival window, a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged to the card on file. This charge also applies if the cleaners are unable to access the property.
Who’s cleaning my home?
We take hiring seriously at Sparkle. We look for cleaners that are detail oriented and are also aligned with our core values (Always Improving, Always Be Transparent, and Always Make It Right). We also conduct background checks on all of our professional cleaners. We believe that our rigorous vetting process is the most important aspect to providing the highest-quality cleaners to our clients. We wouldn’t settle for anything less, and neither should you!
Will I have the same cleaner?
We do our best to send the same cleaner, however, we cannot guarantee it. Leading up to your appointment, you will receive a text message reminding you about your scheduled appointment and it will list the name of your cleaner for that specific appointment.
Do I need to have supplies & what products do you use?
We bring all the cleaning supplies and equipment needed to clean your home except for toilet brushes. At Sparkle, we carry a diverse selection of cleaning products in our caddy. While we prioritize green products, we also have more abrasive options on hand for tougher challenges if the green products are not effective. Most importantly, we never use bleach. Many of our cleaning products are from Envirox, a green-certified company. Our Floor Solution, also from Envirox, is pH-neutral, making it ideal for tile and various other flooring types. Cleaning product education is a top priority for us at Sparkle and our cleaners are provided in depth training on when and how to properly use all of their cleaning agents.
Do I need to be home?
It’s up to you! About half of our clients are home, and the other half are not home. Don’t worry though; if you are not home, you will know when your cleaners are at your home. You will receive notifications when we are on our way and when we leave your space. We do, however, ask that if you know you will not be home, please let us know 48 hours in advance.
Are pets okay on jobs?
We love pets! We do advise clients to crate their animals while we are in your home to reduce the likelihood of them escaping when we enter and leave your home.
How do I pay?
Invoices are sent out the next business day via email with a link to pay online. If you would like to enroll in autopay, please let us know, and we can get this setup for you.
